Logo name: talking logo
Creator: Kim Fitzgerald
Explanation: It seemed obvious at least to me that the "g" would make a great blurb symbol - It has a high tech feel and is easy to read. It would be great on many different applications. Thanks for the opportunity!

I haven't looked at them all, but I've looked at about 5 pages and this is my favorite so far. It's both clean and clever.

I like it

I agree that this logo could have many different applications. The "g" would be an evocative blurb symbol.

Love the blurb "g" and the rest is clean and simple.

Like Sean Bonner said (http://www.seanbonner.com/blog/archives/001970.php), Technorati has a strong green speech-bubble brand, so this logo would seem derivative. A shame, as it's pretty.

Grabbed my attention - attractive & professional.

It's a great logo... but it reminds me immediately of Technorati, not blogads.

Nice and simple!

WOW. Simple, powerful, brilliant. This gets my vote!

I really like this one.

The colors are what first attracted me...but I would really like to see it in a black/orange and orange/black color scheme to see how it looks on the site.

The best "speach bubble" entry. (I had one myself) Very clever although does clash with Technorati. I would try a different color combo at least. Reads as Bloo at first. I think it's too clean/high-tech for what was asked for initially, but that could be remedied easily without loosing the clever layout. One of the best entries I think.

thanks everyone for the nice comments - I went and checked out that other site. Yes, it appears they love the lime green as much as me - So I will try an revise this with some more colors - any other helpful comments would be appreciated!

Kim, You can change it if you like, but it's a bit of a stretch, in my opinion, for people to claim excessive similarities between your logo and technorati's logo. My biggest issue with your logo is that "blog" is way over-emphasized. It seems to me that "ads" is the key term. (And also that it -does- appear to say "bloo" at a glance.)

Yep, that looks like Technorati green to me too. Would love to see what it looks like in black/orange.
