No. The vague tagline is overshadowing the actual name of the company. And the lantern? Great for coal mining, bad for tech-related companies. The size is awkward to boot.

Was this made on scratch-board? Nice illustration regardless, but will have to give this a thumbs down as a logo for BlogAds. I don't like the "guiding light" metaphor, and the tagline is overpowering BlogAds. Works as an illustration, not as a logo.
