i love this one. i wish this creator can do one for my site too! Very nice, colors are quirky and balanced, just like blogad's audiences!

William, you are right. This design is the best out of your three designs. I agree, the human fingerprint is ideally associated with human uniqueness. I think the inksplat does resemble Nickelodeon, as Brian has described. Perhaps a splat with finger print ridges?

Out of the 3 you have chosen, I'd have to say this one is the only choice. One of the others looks WAY too much like the ford logo, the other is too childish IMO. Good luck Carm, even if its not picked, if its any consolation, I think this one should definitely be the winner out of the 3 options.

definitely do not use this one. it's super amateurish. even if you changed the colors it looks bad.

the one you like is not readable, this makes a statement! The other looks too retro.

I like the top and third down the best. When ADS is in a light color, it's a little hard to read, especially since it's so small. I know they've been looking for the rough handrawn look, but I think the bottom one (and many of the other "rough" logos that were submitted) look a little too grassroots and unprofessional. The OG in the 4th option also have a different letterweight from the BL, making it look unbalanced. That one might work if the letterweight (thickness of the widths in the letterforms) were equalized throughout. I think you can still do this without encroaching too much on the talk bubble. Among the logos submitted, these are the cleanest, and the most on-target. The talk bubble clearly shows what is unique and effective about advertising on blogs. Blogads should remember their target is advertisers, not necessarily bloggers; I therefore think the Blogads logo should convey the look of an established media company that is both in-the-know in the blog community, but also smart, knowledgable and targeted in the media placing industry. As this friendly and smart logo demonstrates, that doesn't necessarily mean that the logo need look "corporate" or "boring."

I like this one best because of the touch of 3 dimiensionality.

The best--very recognizable and memorable. Looks great large and small.

For those of you who would like to see a cleaner version of this font... http://www.graphicnet.com/blogads/logo3.gif

I know "cheers" are discouraged. But if Brian can get in his jeers, why not a cheer? This works, and works well. I like it better than Kent's other two. I prefer this lettering to the Coke lettering.

"The size of the [company name] isn't really relevant." Insupportable, unless you've already spent a kajillion dollars advertising your logo. The company name needs to be legible at its most commonly used size, which sure ain't gonna be 200px. You can't make the thumb bigger, so I'd re-think this one completely. The tagline is almost unreadable even at 200px. I like the fact that it's on top -- makes the company name more dramatic. Tagline itself is too smug, IMHO. Should focus on BlogAds customers, not on the company itself.

Not crazy about the colors -- it needs to have a stronger look.

I like this one, but it's too frenetic. Can the font be changed so it's a little cleaner? With a little fine-tuning, this one has punch.

The font is too cute. I'd like it with different lettering.

Upon reflection, the double border gives the design a three-dimensional quality and should be kept if this one is selected.

Given that my entry didnt make the final cut, I'll have to back this one up all the way. This is by far the best one on the list. Fresh, raw and playful.

this is my favorite. strong look, but not corporate. incorporates tagline nicely. looks cool as a small button. i like the rough edge, but the font seems playful enough to work cleaner also.

Too aggresive in my opinion because of the size of the letters. To make this work, would need to make the letters slightly thinner, I think. Might work well if it were not so heavy. The essence of blogs is that they move with the speed of light.
